(Taking advantage of the first snowfall BEFORE heading off to school!)
I am thankful for SNOW! The memories of building snowmen, the thrill of sledding, riding home in the back of Dad's pick up truck from Homecoming Hill, the taste of homemade hot chocolate with waaay too many marshmallows, the smell and warmth of sitting beside the fireplace after spending the day in the bitter cold, cookies baking in the oven, and how every meal hit your soul while the snow flew outside.... Winter days were some of the best of my childhood. I am so thankful we live in a small part of the world where it snows!
