Happy Easter

Our latest donation to the Rainbow Oncology at FCHC.

At a Girls Night Out in March, we made the above floral eggs using styrofoam eggs, the tops off silk flowers and pearlized pins.

Simple.

Easy.

Beautiful.

Appreciated.

As some nurses were "ooh-ing" and "aah-ing" over the eggs, another nurse said:

"Thank you.  The patients really appreciate things you've dropped off.  It means a lot to them that you take the time to do this."

Hearing that comment made my heart beam.

God gives us all talents.  And when you take the time to use those talents, your life becomes so much more fulfilling.  All your other stresses - worries - work all become pety and mundane.  You may think that you're only making a simple gesture when in reality you're its the Spirit working through you, guiding you in the direction you need to go.

And thats the point of this exsistance, isn't it?

To worship doesn't mean to get up on a pulpit and preach to the masses.  Sometimes its as simple as using the God given talents we have to do good, to bring a smile, to make time for others, to help those in need, to live by example.  So my question to you is:

Are you living a fulfilling life?
