How should we celebrate your 7th birthday?
Let's start a few days early with a birthday lunch at Ideal Hot Dog with a few of your closest family members.
And, of course, your best-est cousin.
Then we'll move on to every little boy's dream world
- an arcade.
Where you will be handed rolls and rolls of nickels.
Some to keep for yourself...
...and some to pass out to those who are celebrating with you.
Then... let the games begin!
Then your actual birthday will arrive and that will be cause for more celebrating, right?
So we'll start with making Jell-O for church even before leaving for school.
I'll arrange a special treat for your school snack.
Your favorite dinner will be delivered to your doorstep.
And we may just have a few presents for you too.
And since you lucked out and do not have school the day after your birthday, you get to stay up WAY past your bedtime to shoot your glow in the dark rockets and helicopters.
I think that's a pretty fabulous way to celebrate what an awesome kid you are. I hope you had as much fun as we all did. And with your day coming to an end, there is only one question hanging in the air...
