Summer Fun - Week Six

Week 6 of Summer Fun brings us into the Fourth of July and our town throws quite the bash complete with inflatables!

But Holly wasn't impressed.

At least not until brother and sister joined her.

So many late nights....

Bree and a neighbor friend are up to something crafty but I'm not sure what.

And I'm busy painting as well.

And Jim?  Well, Jim is pretty busy too.

Needless to say, this tree has been dead for quite some time.

Good thing he isn't scared of heights!!

And even though this tree wasn't dead, we have plans for the area so down it goes.

We took a girls only trip to Shipshewana Flea Market with a family friend,

ate pretzels that I am still dreaming about,

and rocked Mama's sunglasses while enjoying a massive snowcone.

We beat the summer heat by chillin' in bed watching movies.

And started the back to school regime of doctor visits.

July 6th brought about our THIRD Community Meal opportunity where we served 187 sandwiches to friends, fellow church members, and the elderly of our town.

Finally it was time to hit the drive-in to see Despicable Me 3 and the newest Transformer movie that I didn't really like and fell asleep beside Holly.
